I thoroughly enjoyed my running/lifting training plan from Julia. I was training for two half marathons after a long racing hiatus with the goal of completing them without being miserable and/or injured. Her plan was a great balance between strength and miles which allowed me to just show up for workouts without doing any of the thinking! Although I ended up completing both races while getting over a cold, I felt I was well prepared for them. The plan provided consistency and challenging workouts that were appropriate for my goals and fitness level. Julia was also there for regular check-ins, questions, concerns, and weird runner problems. I highly recommend working with Julia as your coach!!!

"After returning to running 1.5 years postpartum with my second child it was no joke. I really struggled mentally and physically with a postpartum hip injury that really was out of my control. When I wanted to run a half marathon this year with the goal of running injury free, I knew Julia was going to help me get there. She really worked with me on not only setting up adequate training to get me there but she also reminded me what my goal was when I would get frustrated with myself for missing a run or having an off week. "From the outside looking in I was in one of the worst stages of my life to run a marathon. I was 9.5 months postpartum on race day with a baby who doesn’t sleep and a 2 year old who doesn’t stop moving. I was working full time and breastfeeding. Julia took all those factors into consideration when writing my plan and came up with something that fit within my time and energy constraints. Did it look like the marathon plans I was used to pre kids, no. Did I run over 35 miles a week? Also no. But Julia worked with me, tweaking my plan as needed to account for sleepless nights and other hiccups along the way. She got me to the starting line of my first marathon in 8 years healthy and well trained. I have never felt so good in a race nor recovered so well post marathon before. With her help I ran my third fastest time ever, way faster than I was anticipating. I’m not sure what kind of magic she works, but I’m all for it and can’t recommend her enough!”
